Wonderful Little Things - Macrofilm/Naturfilm

When chaos, stress and distraction comes over us, it is good to calm down and focus on the wonderful little things that mother nature is blessing us with.
So I like to invite you to have a break, relax and enjoy some meditative moments of witnessing the little creatures, plants and mushrooms down at your feet, which normally remain invisible for most of us most of the time.
SHOT ON:
Sony A7SIII + Tamron 70-180mm 2.8 and Walimex Pro extension tubes.
I was mostly using 70mm @ F8-13, all 3 extension rings and ISO 12800 @4k 50p, 10bit 4:2:2 XAVC-HS 200Mbit H.265. Macro filming needs a lot of
light and stopping down, to get a useable depth of field and focusrange. The light sensitivity of the A7SIII is perfect for this.
With the magnificant Tamron 70-180mm 2.8 lens you are able to focus close range as near as 10-12 cm with 70mm, when using manual focus (the minimal close focus limit is much higher, when using autofocus!). So in combination with the 3 extension tubes it is possible to get even closer, I think about 2-3 cm away from the subject at 70mm. Thats a huge magnification and perfect for macro shooting.
Hope you enjoy the film as much as I did making it! Feel free to get in touch, if you have any questions.
Thank you.
